Kennedy, Charles Ran
(1871-1950)
   Born in Derby, England, he first acted in America in 1903 and continued performing until his retirement in 1927. Meanwhile, he also wrote plays, notably a religious drama titled The Servant in the House (1908). His other plays include The Winterfeast (1908), The Terrible Meek (1912), The Army with Banners (1918), The Chastening (1922), Flaming Ministers (1932), Face of God (1935), and The Seventh Trumpet (1941). He became a naturalized citizen in 1917.
